What a week

Well we had a fun vacation to California this last week. My dad was already going so I just told him to come with us and he and my mom joined us. Which was good because we had a big unit and someone to watch the kids when we wanted to sleep. :) On Monday we went to Disneyland with the kids and had breakfast in the park with some of the Disney characters and that just scared Ryan to death. In all fairness they are a lot smaller on TV. He did however like Minnie and wasn't afraid. We also found out there is no Daisy in the park and that is Ryan's favorite so we were a bit disappointed. After breakfast it was about noon we hit up all the rides for him to ride and we actually got on all but three that day. The kids were fabulous. No crying, whining, or anything. I was amazed. Tuesday we walked to the beach and we also saw some sea lions in the harbor. We built a sand castle and ran in the cold water, I would have won that but my dad is too tall and can go farther without screaming about the cold water, mom lost she didn't even get close.:) We played tennis and swam in the hot tub and kiddie pool. Wednesday was a bit too foggy so we just relaxed played games, watched movies, went swimming, and ate at a nice pizza place dad knew of. Thursday we went back to Disneyland for my birthday and the parents came with us, which was needed because Abigail was not happy that day until the evening came around. We got to watch a lot of the shows that day which I favored because being pregnant and walking all day was not so much fun. Later we went to Knotts Berry Farm for dinner and it was fabulous. It was like a five course meal and I was full when my food got there that I had to take it home and eat it for breakfast on friday. Friday we checked out and said goodbye to mom, dad, and Abigail. We left at noon and got home at 3 am. We stopped in vegas for a couple of hours and took Ryan to the M&M factory and for a coke float. He loved them both. We had a lot of fun and were sad to have had to come home, but we will definitely do it again!
